Antispam Policy

This policy applies to any services provided by Realitywave that may use to send commercial or bulk emails ("Covered Services").

The Anti-Spam Policy of Realitywave is a precondition to using Covered Services. Use of Covered Services is limited to sending emails or messages to recipients who have given you express permission to do so, such as permission-based email marketing. We take our anti-spam policy very seriously. We may terminate your account if we discover you're sending emails or messages without permission.

The term "permission" refers to your grant of express and provable permission. You may obtain permission to send commercial emails by:

Submitting an email address as part of downloading content or placing an order on your website. Subscribing to an email newsletter by filling out a form on your website. Participating in a contest, event, or poll you ran and informing the participant that you would be sending marketing emails. Any business card given to you by someone who has consented to receive emails of a commercial nature; any form submission in which the user has checked an opt-in checkbox indicating their willingness to be contacted by you via email; provided that the checkbox is unchecked by default and you have informed such user that the nature of the emails will be commercial. It will assume that a trade show visitor who puts their business card in your booth is willing to receive promotional emails from you.

The general guideline is that you shouldn't use the Covered Services to send emails to people who haven't given you their consent to send emails on the email topic. There must be no exceptions to the regulation mentioned above.

Our 100% rate excludes cases where the recipient has marked the email as spam, despite giving you express provable permission to send emails to that address. If an email recipient opts out of receiving emails from you, permission granted to them is considered revoked. Below are the specific rules that clarify the Rule of Thumb mentioned earlier:

  • You must have explicit permission to contact the recipient about the subject of your email. Maintain proof that you have received permission from all emails you send through Covered Services.
  • You may not use Covered Services to import or send emails to email addresses you have purchased, borrowed, rented, or otherwise acquired from a third party, regardless of any claim as to the quality or permission of such addresses. You can't import email addresses found on other sites into your Covered Services account or use them to send messages.
  • The "From" and "To" fields, as well as the domain and email address from which the email was sent, must be accurate, as must the rest of the routing and header information.
  • It would help if you did not deceive the receiver about the nature or substance of the communication in the subject line.
  • All emails must include a clear and simple way for recipients to unsubscribe, and you must stop sending emails to anybody who has already done so. Within 10 days of the request, must remove the individual from the email list.
  • Every email you send using the Covered Services must include a real, physical postal address.
  • Every one of your promotional emails must clearly state that they are, in fact, advertisements or solicitations and provide clear instructions for how the recipient can unsubscribe from receiving future commercial emails from you.

Regardless of whether you have sent marketing emails to the email addresses you have imported to your Covered Services, we reserve the right to demand that you demonstrate that you have express consent to send emails to those addresses.

You accept this Anti-Spam Policy unconditionally by using Covered Services.
